Minor Service

This service is a minor service and consists of the oil and filter change, lubrication of all grease points and inspection and test of the battery. The cooling system including radiator, cap, hoses and clamps are also checked. Belts and wiper blades are checked and fluid levels are topped up if necessary. Removal of all four wheels to enable cleaning, checking and adjusting, this includes the hand brake. We will also perform a safety inspection of the front and rear suspension, exhaust and steering components. We check the transmission and differential and top up if required. After the above has been completed, a road test to ensure all of the working condition of your car is SAFE, for you to drive away.

Inspect

• Radiator & heater cores
• Water pump & fan clutch
• Heater & radiator hoses
• Heater tap
• Welsh plugs
• Hose clamps
• Adjust fan belts

Check

• Engine mounts for breakage
• All shock absorbers
• Steering components
• Security of all fuel hoses/ pipes
• Exhaust for security and leaks
• Tyres and pressures, rotate & balance if necessary
• Oil leaks
• C.V. boots for cuts
• Gearbox mount for breakage

Clean & Adjust

• Brakes if required
• Pressure test cooling system for leaks
• Lubricate steering stop
• Handbrake

Road Test

• Check & report on vehicle for engine performance, braking suspension and operation of all accessories and lights
